Orange County Sheriff's Office

The Information Technology division of the Sheriff’s Office is responsible for the hardware, software and the assistance in providing the functionality users need. The hardware items can include but not limited to Personal Computers (Notebook and Desktop), In car cameras, Body worn cameras. The software items are proprietary programs written in house or purchased from vendors to help facilitate day to day operations for the Sheriff’s Office and the Detention Center. The IT professionals working in the Sheriff’s Office perform a number of duties to help all stake holders have full access to everything they need.  The responsibilities of the IT department covers a large scope of items in an ever changing infrastructure and IT staff must adapt to the changes as they arise.
