Tina Sykes serves as the Major for the Professional Services. Professional Services has four sub-divisions encompassing Training, Professional Standards, School Resources and Community Services. Training and Professional Standards focus on the education of new recruits, ongoing training for existing deputies and detention officers, and our commitment to the North Carolina Law Enforcement Accreditation Program.

     Community Involvement includes the School Resource Officer program; SROs provide safety and security to our community’s youth. It also includes our Community Services team which administers our many supportive services and crime prevention programs. See links below to learn more.
