Community Services
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office, as a law enforcement agency, seeks to protect the community by solving crimes, arresting criminals, managing the detention center, and enforcing traffic laws. But we provide the community with far more than just law enforcement activities.
The Support Services Division strives to identify and address unmet individual or community needs within Orange County. We build relationships with stakeholders and work through partnerships with other service delivery entities to meet these needs, increase safety for vulnerable populations, and build a sense of belonging for people throughout the county. Our programs and initiatives fall into two categories, Community Outreach and Community Services.
