Patrol deputies from the Sheriff’s Office will provide a close patrol or a house check upon request.

A close patrol puts deputies in your neighborhood to view the property from the road and provide extra patrols in the area. Perhaps you recently had vandalism in your area, or you will be out of town and you want additional law enforcement presence in the neighborhood. This service to residents is free of charge and a way to be proactive in protecting your property.
A house check is a request for a deputy to specifically come to your residence, walk around the building, and physically inspect all doors and windows. This valuable service is especially useful when you will be out of town for a business trip or vacation and you want your residence to receive specific attention. If possible, please request this service 2-3 days prior to your trip.
